Clear Polystyrene sheet is an economical, cost effective glazing and fabrication material suitable for indoor use. Safer and three times stronger than glass, light weight, easily handled and has good workability.
When cutting, use any mechanical saw with a fine toothed blade and always ensure the sheet is well supported.
If drilling, use slow speed power drills with a metal drill head and come in at least 50mm from the edge of the sheet. Make sure to drill the holes at least 3mm bigger than the screw, use rubber washers and never over tighten so as to allow for expansion and contraction.
Only clean the sheets using warm water, a drop of washing up liquid and a soft cloth. Never use wipes, detergents or general household cleaning agents.
